In case they fix it on the site, here's the quote "Subtle sophistication is a dominant them in today décor. Nothing complements this attitude like the Capistrano, with a soft, sculpted look and the nautical suggestion of seashells" What a nice introduction to the fan! Hopefully no new customers view this page first, that will definitely turn them away.

Here are two modern portable fans I have which came with atrocious instructions. First we have a Comfort Air tower fan. The front picture of the box says 10" On the bottom of the box, it states 11" Now for the instruction manual. -"fan on Set the a level dry surface." What? Even the 'set' is capitalized, like it at some point should have been at the beginning of the sentence. -"To adjust the speed speed key to set the desired speed:" Again looks like another disorder of words, but what's a 'speed key' anyways? Is that what they're called in China? Now, for the really funny one! This 10" Circular fan. Now the box says circular fan, the instructions picture the same fan as on the box, but the instructions call it a box fan. The instruction manual's content is even better. On the first page, we have some obvious safety precautions which contain generally poor grammar and punctuation usage as well as seemingly different font color throughout. A few spelling errors as well, my favorite being "DO NIT"! Then we have the assembly and usage instructions. The assembly instructions are incomprehensible, fortunately and ironically, the fan comes fully assembled. I think that can stand on its own, but I will say that "press the switch knob" is a phrase I've never heard. And here's a video in case you want to hear me trying to read that:

Who the hell reads instructions anyways. Apparently not the editors, and realistically speaking probably nobody else since these are assembly instructions for a fully assembled product...
