Wow!!! This fan looks amazing. I really like that almond finish. I wonder if there might be a way to add capacitors to reduce the speed on low?

I know antiques guys who will run a capacitor in series with the whole thing in order to have the equivalent of 110vAC.

Adam, how well did that cinderblock trick work for eliminating the warp?
I am trying to de-warp one of my 52" Red Craftmade blades, and could somebody please direct me to a threat where such a topic is covered?
Thank you in advance.

I was still having issues with one blade that I haven't painted.. Soon as I applied paint to one side, it started to warp again.. I ended up painting both sides and the warp ended up straightening it's self out for the most part.. I let dry for 24 hours and did the cinder block trick again and it seems straight.. If your not in rush, it's best to leave put for about a week.. I moved it all inside, and seemed to work better.. Way tooo Humid in my parts for it to work outside..

I know it's a very old thread, but I want to add that adding a capacitor to reduce voltage to 110 may work for high, but would actually make medium and low even faster. Choke and capacitor acts differently, and would not work out if wired in series. The best way to reduce voltage would be to use a transformer.
