Figured I might as well make a thread on this...
I'll start with me: Older "contemporary" fans, (late 70's to mid 90's). I also enjoy uplight/motor housing light fans as well...
What about you?

Anything from the late 1970s, early 1980s.. Heavy, durable, rare stuff.. Anything else common, I could give or take.. I've got some common Hunter stuff from the later 80s, early 90s, and some Emerson 1895 series from the mid/late 80s, but I would give that stuff up before anything from the late 70s early 80s..

For me it's top mounts, they've always been my favorite type of fan. Most of my collection consists of them. I also like GEV as my parents had a Crest GEV in our porch growing up for the longest time so they're a childhood fan of mine. I also like Emperors, I think they're neat. The only thing I really actively look for though are top mounts.

I like spinners, anything with cane or stencil blades, small industrails, or anything from the 60s-90s that was built properly and will run reliably for many years to come. I also buy 70s-90s box fans and oscillating table fans.

Mainly industrials (dayton being my favorite so far) from any period but I also like spinners and anything that provides a very strong breeze

To collect: - Hunter Originals (though I only have one at the moment).
- Anything else cast iron.
- Anything (and I mean absolutely anything) Casablanca that has a K63, K55 or XLP2000/XLP2000 Plus motor in it.
- Stack-motor fans period.
- Early to mid 80's Four Seasons Venairs.
- A large number of Hunters made prior to 2006 (more specifically, models dating from 1975 to 2005)

- A large number of Hunters made prior to 2006 (more specifically, models dating from 1975 to 2005)
- Fans that use a decently-sized spinner motor. No, a 153X15 motor with a 52" set of blades does not qualify!
- A small sampling of Hampton Bays (mostly in the $150.00 plus range with a few exceptions).

What if it was 162X15?

That wouldn't be much better. Generally, I don't take 52" fans with motors smaller than 172X18 seriously. Though I do have a few exceptions to this rule...

I'll collect anything I think is considered 80's - 90's. But what I really started to like collecting are anything Casablanca. Ever since I saw the 80's catalogs on a website, I got automatically interested in finding anything pre 94 (the year I was born)
