seriously Jonathan, just take pix and dont do so much video! I am aware of people wanting pictures, I just didn't want to post too many pictures of new or low quality ceiling fans.

Seems like I've had to clean up a lot of criticism and negative comments on this particular thread lately. Let's keep in mind that this is Jonathan's thread. If you don't like what he posts, don't click on the topic. Or you could direct message him HELPFUL, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism (which is a lot different than the whining going on on here).
Too much more of this and I'll start with locking the thread... if it's the same members doing the same stuff maybe we'll send a few people on vacation.
Please be mature when you post.

Here's more from Québec: Auberge Baker: Canarm GE vent made by TAT www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-3JCxPI4AUWas on reverse for winter, I switched it to forward to see how much air it blows. It blows an average amount of air for a builder fan, but not very much. Le Brez: 2 brown Canarm Industrial in 6th generation www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozRfYHbyOjM (this video contains a picture) Controlled by a solid state speed control, spin way too fast on minimum speed.

I would expect these old Canarm to blow a good amount of air.
The minimum speed adjustment was not adjust to make the Canarm very slow it seems.
You are still in Québec?

I was there for 3 days, it just that I had my job to do, and now I finally uploaded another video when I had a chance. I was disappointed with the airflow on Canarm GE vent, maybe a bad capacitor?

I don't think it would be the capacitor.. Could be either warped blades or installed in a bad location where there is no airflow..

I don't think it would be capactior.. Could be either warped blades or installed in a bad location.. The room was big enough. It seems to be spinning slightly less than 180 RPMs, which is a bit slow for 4 bladed fans.

I can't tell the RPMs in the video, but I don't see it going noticeably slower than any other TAT..

Jonathan, I hope I'm not hurting your feelings when I ask this because I'm not intending do, but why do you block out the audio if people are taking? I don't think it's such a big deal because it's mostly public places and people wouldn't talk about sensitive information in public places. Just a suggestion. Your videos are cool!
