I saw that too . . I was going to post it. I've never seen a fan like that . . . it reminds me of a Lasko, but the canopy speaks against that. The mounting bracket reminds me of "CEC" . . . and look at how the blades derive their pitch! It's weird . . . tempted to bid just out of odd-ness. Anyone seen one before, or know anything about it?

I think I saw that fan at Wal-Mart a while back, sometime around 1996. Those fans were very weird. They were made in a variety of colorslike white, green, orange, pink, blue, and I think grey aswell. The brand, I have no idea.

only if that fan was in a different color other that pink! Else I'd bid on it. I like those weird looking econo-cheapo fans. Andrew, the fan you saw at Wally-World was probabily a 36" Lasko, like dan said. I have one in the workshop. Here's a pic Or go to Dan's yahoo group. Its in the same file as the Lasko brochure.

Yes it was 36'' and I think it did have stencil blades, except it had a totally different light.

Wally-World is just a retail joke (if you've ever seen National Lamthingy's Vacation you'll understand). Other names are K-Fart, Tarpit, and Home Crackpot.
I'd probabily repaint it in Baby Blue, because I can assume that was a color option for that fan.

A little late, but that weird pink fan is made by "Casco". A friends house I recently had one. Its weird but a peice of noisy wobbily junk.

Wonder who sold it Hey Matthew, what color was your friend's fan? If they made them in some color other than pink I'd like to pick one up just for historial sake.
