KBF (2000s)
Relite (8/1983)

USHA Pulsar (1990)
spare blades:
2 SMC curved blade sets, 2 extra blades for the one blade i had
2 veto (current SMC AK56 clone) blade sets

1 UIB SMC blade set
Haul 5:
SMC K56 (1980)
KDK E14ZX (70s) 2 motors

Unknown, possibly JMG, had CEC canopies
spare blades:
1 SMC curved blade set
Haul 1:
SMC K56 (12/1976)
Bajaj Bahar (1970s)
this fan was also one of the mystery fans i saw when i was small, back in mid late 90s, i remember seeing one of those in green color placed on the ground outside an old mosque.. i remember lifting it but i never got to know what model was that until i got this fan
unlike all the industrials i got, this one has its blade screws inside the motor cover
Relite (10/1983)
USHA Taj Deluxe (Prima lookalike)
it is older than the one i took earlier that had a long downrod
Khaitan Euro, (2008)
some blades:
haul 2:
that time, i went to the scrapyard where i got new fan, safer and UEC, where fans rarely pop up... i was excited with some finds, i could've gotten more but the scrap seller was cheating me with scrap prices
weatherite:
i was shocked to spot an actual weatherite in uae, i never expected i would find one here.. according to the australian collectors, this fan is somewhere in the mid-late 70s era
this fan turns out to have its winding almost gone
the fan when i first encountered it
an orient clone, brand name is unknown
2 veto fans (DAN!)
one had its windings badly burned since its previous owner placed a higher value capacitor.. the other one works perfectly
3 Union ABC fans (80s)
notice how the burnt capacitor melted the canopy
SMC K56 12/1976, thin downrod
i took this fan thinking it was oing to be with a different date, i was surprised they were the same date and this one has a thinner downrod
SMC fan can be seen along with the weatherite
comparison:
a pile of green union AMCs that have their windings gone due to thermal cutting of downrod
Haul 3:
KBF
it is a generic clone of KDK and national fans but made in egypt!
an unknown union-TMT-velox hybrid fan, probably late 70s or early 80s
relite fan, august 1983
crompton greaves high breeze 90s
it is the first time i see a CG high breeze with these canopies.. there was another fan that has been scrapped, i took the canopies so as to place in the crompton parkinson as lower canopy.. however, it doesnt fit in the CP downrod
Haul 4:
JMC:
there were some fans i got earlier and referred to them as "golden fan" one of them might be golden fan but the other one might be a JMC based on the shape..
SMC K56 sep 1981
it is as heavy as the 1978 model but its motor structure is more like the 1983 and 1984 model
USHA Pulsar 1990
canopies are not original
Haul 5:
2 KDK E14ZX
1 unknown (JMG? late CEC?) 48" fan
the fan had CEC canopies and threaded downrod, the motor suspension is not for threaded downrod
SMC K56 1980
the actual month is unknown but 1980 was written on the capacitor
Relite Fan (april 12 1989)
whatever theory i made about the motor cover (blue top and white top) was proven false after i got this fan as this one has a blue top cover
this fan appeared to be operating at high speeds for a long period of time
the blades are yellowed just like the 70s one, if i will repaint it, i am planning to go for the same color as it is... these yellowed blades is very nostalgic to me and reminds me of the childhood relites back in my primary school
this fan is only 6 days older than the relites in my farm
the fan's windings overlap current to each other since the run stator and start stator are short to each other.. i will try to insert a gasket and varnish in between...
this fan has the same label as the ones in my farm on both canopies, the upper one was actually a lower one placed upside down
SMC spare blades
