Today we met up again and revisited the stores but nothing too much different fan-wise. He got a 48" PB Casablanca Four Seasons with white blades for $25. It's missing most of the Hang-tru parts, the only thing present was the main canopy body. Its a reconditioned slumber quiet model with a newer XLP-2000 motor. Unfortunately the board on it is going bad, you turn the dial and it will only work on full speed. My Zephyr did that very thing before it fried. Model CB-4222 Serial: JP05747. The fan was made back in October 5th, 1982. Fan# 747. The fan did not have a light on it, he added the one from the fan I got. I got an old 52" top-mount with a nice heavy cast iron motor for $20. It's missing the blade to arm screws, and the whatever kind of hanger bracket it had. Anyone have a clue to what this thing is? Surpreme? Moss? Evergo? I kept the shades from the light kit it had, one of them has a chip in it that happened on the way home. Also got 2 art-deco shades so now I have a complete set along with an AB Hunter switch cap which I intend on painting white to complete the Colonial.

All around great finds, love the top mount. Looks Mossy, but at the same time not really. Originally utilized the double-claw mount, I see your rubber pieces are gone.

I thought it was claw mount. Well I had to do another rewire job with this fan, mainly for the light kit wires. Here is a shot of the motor itself, maybe this gives some ideas: Here is the fan all cleaned up and hung:

With some further investigation with the help of Adam's gallery pics, I am pretty sure the top mount is a Golden Fan or Fair Fan or was made by that company.
I'll get a video tomorrow, if I have time.

The canopy is how I can tell it's not Moss. DANG I cant remember what brand we said that canopy was! There was a 6 blader on Texas CL.

Could very well be. The canopy is the same as the Classic Concepts spinner Adam has.

Motor resembles Golden Fan, but the Canopy says Classic Concepts. Interesting.

The motor is so totally Golden/New/Fair Fan, I could tell you that in a heartbeat looking at the shape. Very curious to hear if a verdict on the make can be reached. It's almost like that NIB Golden Fan on eBay should've been, at least motor-wise, this is what I had expected to see inside.

Let's call it Classic Concepts for now.
It's clearly made by the New Fan/Golden Fan factory, but I bet it was labeled something else.

There are subtle differences between the New Fan and the Golden Fan motors, mainly in regards to the angles on the side.
