The motor was almost seized, the motor wouldn't even spin when power was applied. Oil freed it up nicely. The finish is also tarnished a good deal but that just adds character. The original motor screws for the blades were replaced with some weird square-slotted screws. One blade-to-arm screw is missing. The housing was askew since there was a lock washer in between the black plate that the housing mounts to and the switch housing. Replaced it with a standard washer and it is now aligned. Video coming tonight.

As many of you may have seen, I have an AB Moss WF series, which I still have hanging to this day. I just can't take it down!

WF's look better with the flat "Ritz" globe, like this.. Agreed, my WF came with one. They're getting hard to come by though, I haven't seen one anywhere around here for years. If I saw one now I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Nice fan! I have one almost exactly like it except the finish on the blades is different. I also got mine for 20$ except mine works really well. I find it very slow though but apparently theses are made like that. Is yours slow too?
Mine was also pretty tarnished but surprisingly the Silvo metal polish worked really well on it and removed most of the big tarnished spots.

Yeah it is slow. I do agree about the globe but that is the closest thing I can get.

Mine, which probably uses the same motor, was also slow...until I replaced the failing capacitor with that of a slightly higher value. It now runs at about 200 RPM on high.
