I always LOVE to see your sightings. Keep em coming! Whoa curved bladed fans! Usually they are very uncommon to see in Middle East. The 56'' ones with curved blades are probably some larger versions of the 36'' one! Try to get at least one! They look really nice! Both of the ones with curved blades definitely look like something Hong Kong made. they aren't common nowadays sadly, they were everywhere long time ago.. i remember there were 2 evergoish fan with curvy blades like the one i have in my great grandma's house.. they used to scare me back then the 56" one looked exactly like mine but with a different upper canopy and the bottom of the motor

there are 2 or 3 circles around the motor at the bottom
it could be 1985 or 1986 since the building has been established in 1986
all these fans are connected to SMC regulators..
flickr is blocked in UAE, i can't see those photos

Some very different fans in there, you should grab as many as possible and run with them.

Wow lucky you to have access to all those fans in those abandoned houses. Glad you got the ABC 36 incher! It does not look like a Crompton Greaves but it does look beasty. The blades are so WIDE! Oh yeah I already saw this USHA model but I don't remember the model's name. It looks pretty recent but its not on the current USHA site. Whoa the curved bladed fan looks so much like an older NuTone Proline but with a thicker motor and different upper canopy. The last one I already saw it but I don't remember the brand. I'm pretty sure its Indian. Looks more recent.

Wow lucky you to have access to all those fans in those abandoned houses. It does not look like a Crompton Greaves but it does look beasty. The blades are so WIDE! you can say so... but in many cases, the fans are taken.. it is very hard to find a fan in those places.. i remember when i first got my driving license, i roamed around a bunch of villas that are being demolished near to my house, at that time i never had a plan of taking the fans.. believe it or not?? there were lots of 1970s relites and some other fans still hanging.. as the time passed i was seeing the fans taken or demolished with the house.. i was thinking it was not appropriate to take ceiling fans coz i didn't want any trouble to happen to me.. that was until i met the 48" relite in february 2009 which looked so gorgeous and beautiful... thanks god the ceiling was low and there was a big table, i directly set a plan to take the fan and eventually i took it without any trouble if you remember that huge cracked crompton greaves switch i have, it appears to be for this fan model

this time i got pics of non industrials a 2 leaf bladed fanimation a 5 bladed ceiling fan from a restaurant... dunno what fan it is (i don't think it's a hunter) but it looks very vintage and neat a short video (i was hiding my phone while capturing, it may not look clear enough)

Nice! I'm not a huge fan of Fanimations, but the belt-driven system is cool nonetheless. The AB fan looks neat, running on low like that.
