Who else believes a user-friendly, user-controlled gallery system would be a welcome addition to the existing system and this site?

You mean where the members contribute to it, right? I think it's a great idea, but then DT will just think we've copied them again with the users contributing thing.

I think that would be a great idea, That would probably require me to switch forums.. If you are talking about integrating a gallery system with forums

Let them think what they want, but a user-controlled gallery system is a good idea, either way. I think that would be a great idea, That would probably require me to switch forums.. If you are talking about integrating a gallery system with forums You still have the phpBB 'test' forum, yes? I believe phpBB has that feature, among many others which may or may not be available with Proboards. All you need to do is import the entire contents of this existing board over to the new board.

To put this together will take a lot of time to do.

I don't mind switching forums as long as we can keep the same general layout (easily done) and that no information is lost. There's some good stuff in these forums that shouldn't be lost.

Transferring Info from here to a domain based forums is not possible. All the data on these proboards forums are own by proboards.. Only option would be to keep these forums up and close them from posting and start a new forum.. Many people are against that, so more than likely we will stick with what we have...

I would love to have that on Vintage Ceiling Fans and I would definitely donate a lot of my pictures. We actually already have the Donated Pictures place but apparently not more than 5 pics can be post at the time and the pics never changed anyway.

Also there may be a gallery system I can put up without forums, the user may post and comment and rate wright reviews of a certain ceiling fan... I'm also looking into that...
