Wow I must say for a Harbor Breeze is looks quality. Housing looks thick. Is it particularly heavy?
How does it spins?
I like how the blades are glossy.

Neat fan! How much air does it move?

HAHA! Looks can be deceiving! It is VERY light, it moves OK.... I do believe that 4 blades move more than 5 or 6.... .. I actually like it without the light-kit too...
It is just a spinner motor, I will agree that it is nice for a Harbor Breeze...
I bought it off e-bay and PAID WAY TOO MUCH FOR IT! But, I did want it....

Nice fan... however, they once again have shrunken the brackets and now have made them "concealed hardware" type, which means you can probably expect them to start sagging. I wonder if the next step is putting ridiculously skinny blades on it at one point.

JW, how exactly can you look to be able to tell if the fan has this on the flanges and all so you can prevent by a "blade sagger" fan.

By "Concealed Hardware" I mean there is a "lip" of sorts right where the blade attaches to the motor that (to an extent) covers up the screws and the actual motor when looking at the fan from the side. And more often than not, when a fan has this type of bracket, the part where the screws connect to the motor is not thick enough to support the weight of the blade. Whereas this part of the bracket might start out as an upside down "L" (with a 90 degree angle), it will eventually end up looking more like a "7". These fans have it: These fans do not:

I like it better without the light.
I have some Homestars that look like this fan.
