I like the ceiling fan. But I would recommend installing a proper ceiling fan junction box.

I would love to have it professional installed on a junction box, also seperate from the light wiring. Because I have to have the bright light on in order to operate the Charleston fan and would want to have the fan running at night without the light. At least I have no worries of it falling with 2 inch wood screws directly into a joist beam, but this won't be permanent. I'm planning on cutting a hole right where the Charleston is installed and mounting a steel junction electrical box on the beam and using the wiring from the other junction box near the garage door since that's separate from the light. The troubles I have to go through of getting a ceiling fan hung in a house built out of a garage...
