Video showing it on slower speeds:
Video showing it on faster speeds:
After taking the first video, and running on high for a while, I noticed it was spinning faster. Any ideas how the fan can spin faster by itself, without having the capacitor replaced? And no it's not the bearings because spin down wasn't short in first place. I just find it really weird. It went from 220 RPM to 300 RPM on high, and low speed was more than 2X faster.

SMCs are known for crap bearings, so no surprise Like I said, it spins freely to begin with. And it's older U42 with Laguna switch housing and I don't think older SMC have bad bearings.
