These are at my Dad's friend's house. When I first went there back when I was younger, they didn't have Ceiling Fans there at that time. But when I got back there again, I was surprised that there's Fans in there. But on a sloped ceiling. The Fans that are installed are the 42" Harbor Breeze Centreville in Brushed Nickel. They're controlled by the Lutron Skylark SFSQ-LF Fan Control (which is not shown).

As long as the ceiling isn't too sloped, I suppose it's okay to install huggers in there.

Personally, I would never ever install a hugger or flush-mounted fan on a sloped ceiling...the whole thing just seems highly unprofessional and cheap. That isn't to say it "can't" be done or won't work, though.

I do have to wonder what it would do to the bearings and/or mounting bracket over time..
