I thought this was too good of an opportunity to pass up, so I bought it. This is my first vintage Vornado, as well as my first hassock fan, it's even the first time I've ever seen a hassock fan in person. It is the the most expensive fan I've ever bought at $130, I may have overpaid since it needs some work. For example I am having a tough time taking it apart to oil the motor, which it needs desperately, the fan also slows significantly when you tilt it upwards. I'm not sure if that is a wiring issue or something more complicated. Edit: I uploaded the pics as attachments, but the one keeps uploading sideways. Attachments:
