I know the 52" Hampton Bay Landmarks still had cane blades in 1995-96. I would guess that the last fans with traditional cane blades in the US were probably from Heritage or something very cheap. It's kind of the same with fans having stencil blades or GE vents, etc. As mentioned above, they wouldn't be as likely to change their product lines until well after those styles were off the market from most manufacturers.

The last ones I saw were some white Canarm Tempest/Tempo and Tradition in the early 2010's.

I am surprised that cane blades continued on as for long as they have.

That is interesting, do they still sell these? I'm asking because I don't see any way to order these from that site.

I have never seen a Lexington with cane blades; they always had non-reversible plain plywood blades since as far as I can remember. The Lexington is a pretty big childhood fan for me, as I loved these when I would go to the local Lamps Plus when I was little. Last I went there before they discontinued them, I tested one on all three speeds. It used a 188×20mm motor and the blade pitch was 16°. Their 188×20mm motor has a meager range of speeds (low on the thing was about 70 RPM), and must be relatively weak for its size because the fan only went about 145-150 RPM on full blast, where I would expect about 180 RPM for this pitch and motor size. It moved a good amount of air because of the pitch, but not as much as a K55-type, or my Supra, which has a 188×15mm motor and performs similarly to a weaker K55-type. Just recently, I tested their "Optima" on all three speeds; it has the same motor but with 14° pitch. It went about 160-165 RPM and moved about the same air; good but not K55 good.

I don't remember that, the only fan I remember in the 2000s with "cane" was the Hunter Seville/Royal Palm with the woven "cane" inserts.

I remember it. It was a fan just like a Lexington or very similar with white cane.

Check out the links above. Exactly, I was talking about the classic cane pattern. The Emerson posted earlier in the thread has a different pattern, that doesn't exactly count in my mind.

I find it surprising that in the U.K. cane is a dime a dozen... seems they appreciate "Old-Fashioned" stuff more than we do...
