It was called a Hampton Bay Florentine Right. I always associate that name with a Grayton looking fan for some reason. That's because the Hampton Bay Florentine I was basically a 5 bladed Grayton with a different light kit. The Florentine II was the Saturn copy.

The Florentine II was the Saturn copy. Actually, the Florentine I was the saturn copy that came in green/clear and had brass accents. Im not sure what the florentine II, III, looked like, but one of these were the graytons with a fancy spotlight kit Florentine IV is the three bladed clear fan without a light that is still sold today.

If it was a II or III, it would say so on the box. It may just have been a recycled name.

They DID have an attempt at a Saturn clone with those clear green lucite things (Name escapes me right now) That is indeed correct, however calling the fan pictured in this thread a "Saturn copy" is absolutely ridiculous.

The second fan you showed is the Florentine I (the NIB), the Florentine II is the first picture (green one). The Florentine IV is kind of cool but too modern for my liking, I'd rather the Florentine I because I like Graytons and those type of light kits. One question, is the NIB Florentine yours?

Found a photo saved on my computer from old website back in 2005! That old website no longer exists. It just says "Florentine" without II or III.

Hm, interesting. This really makes me wonder about the Florentine series now. What other pictures do you have from this site? Also I've seen a Florentine III before, the green one is for certain not the Florentine III. wait, but should'nt the green florentine be the first version since it was released before the grayton one? or am I wrong on that You know to be quite honest I'm not entirely sure, I had just assumed it was the II considering I thought it came after the 5 bladed Grayton Florentine. Here's an ad I found from someone on this forum site, it shows the 5 blade Grayton Florentine. Attachment DeletedThis is what led me to believe that the 5 bladed Grayton Florentine was the Florentine I. When was the green Florentine released?

That would be Perry Z's Picture, I found a catalog picture of the florentine, but no date of the hampton bay catalog in present.

If you saw "dangourstacos" watermark, dangeroustacos is an old image website that doesn't exist anymore. It was taken down in 2005. At least we have flickr, photobucket, and imageshack.

I didn't even know some of these models existed! When it comes to the Florentine I strongly think the green one is in fact the Florentine II, even though it doesn't say it, because the Florentine I (5 bladed Grayton) was being sold in 1998-1999. Also the green Florentine came in white as well.

It's kind of cool, but I could never see myself getting one personally. I like the Florentine that looks like a Grayton, and the Florentine III and IV are ok, but they're just too modern for my liking. What parts was he missing?
