In the way of ceiling fans, I have much less cooler things than you do:
-R&M Hunter Original brown/brass with cane blades -Northman 36" spinner -42" Westinghouse Casanova AB -52" PB Hunter, forget the model name is one of the Breeze series, Coastal Breeze maybe -52" PB with cane Alaska hugger -42" Heritage Lancaster series -36" Caribbean Breeze brown -36" Emerson blender fan 4 blades with switch housing -42" Hunter Beacon Hill white -52" Casablanca Panama PB -52" Hunter Waldon -52" Hampton Bay Brookhurst
I hope to find some more ceiling fans this summer, right now my collection consists primarily of portable fans

Fortunately they do not put double claw mounts on fans that reverse (with the exception of the Hunter original).

Fortunately they do not put double claw mounts on fans that reverse (with the exception of the Hunter original). I've seen TONS of reversible fans with double claw mounts, both with the claw on the downrod (such as Originals and Fascos) and with it on the ceiling (Emersons, Anticas). There is no more danger with a reversible double claw mounted fan than with a ball/socket fan, unless it is hung with a J-hook (which can torque out of the ceiling if the fan is run on high reverse for an extended period of time).
