This is a old light my grandmother had it was hardly ever used and is in great shape it is now in my bedroom at my new place but how old is this lamp and what year is it from?

its a good lamp i loved that lamp ever since i was a kid and was told i could have it when my grandmother passed away

Maybe there's a vintage lamp forum somewhere? Seems they'd be much harder to identify than ceiling fans...

I think that alot would be impossible to identify seeing how many are custom made, or made by single persons.. Doesn't take much to build a lamp, simple light socket and cord and what ever it takes to build the base.. But I would imagine there are alot out there that can be Identified..
