it may not be old at all but it is a mini GE Florescent light that I have mounted on my wall. looks old though.

That's just a typical under the counter fluorescent fixture.. Could be anywhere from the 90s or recent.. Nothing spectacular..

I would guess 1990s onward, based on the switch. Those didn't really become common until the mid-1990s on this type of fixture.

so is this light vintage or not I suppose that would depend on who you ask!! The important thing is whether you like it or not. If you think about it, the mid 1990s (say 1994) would be twenty years ago. In that sense, this fixture could easily fall into the category of "vintage". That said, these are still common, and I believe they are still made. However, with the rapid pace at which LED undercabinet lighting is dominating the market, that may change.
