I need to repair a circuit board for my casa Blanca Panama 5 ceiling fan. Some components failed and the end of the circuit board was fried. I have a fair amount of electronic experience so feel confident I can fix or create a new one. What I really need is the schematic or even a picture of the traces on thr back. Mine is turned to carbon on the end where the resistors are.
Help greatly apreciated, Thanks

How is the fan controlled?

The fan is simply turned on/off at the wall switch but it does have a pot on the side of the unit to set the speed plus a switch to change the direction. I have not taken the motor unit apart but I am guessing there is some sort of Triac, etc. to control the A/C to the motor. Not sure if that could be damaged too.

You could always retrace the board with wire seeing how the foil in the circuit board is probably shorted and burned up in areas... Let me see if I have a pic of the one I'm looking into now.. Or you can always try this guy: ceilingfanpartsonline.com/Last I talked with him he said he had some generic Slumber Quiet boards still lying around..

Best thing to do is convert it to three speed, or just use a wall control. Slumber Quiet boards are prone to failure even if you repair/replace them.
Most Casablanca Repair Centers stock/stocked the three speed conversion kits.

Did you ever get a schematic of the circuit board? I have pulled out the circuit board of the Casablanca fan and found a resistor burned out and unreadable. There are five resistors and I presume this one is CR5 although the board is so scorched as to be unable to read printed writing.

What type of board do you have? I.E. What control system?
