I think it's about that time to move all of the sticky'd 'for sale' threads into their own sub-forum specifically for sticky threads. It's gotten to the point where they're pretty much taking up an entire page.

I agree.. I keep meaning to bring this up... The sticky threads are taking up more than half the pages on all categories and it's unnecessary.. You have to scroll down and look for the new threads and it can get confusing.. The most sticky threads should be one or two and that's it.. I'll let the thread creators take care of this.. Maybe we should have a category somewhere on the forum to put them all in, including the forum rules..

Agreed 100 percent. However I believe the forum rules appear as stickied on every page and I think this should continue to be the case, or at least on the "main" forums (general, ceiling fans, etc.)

So what should we do with the majority of them? I see that regular members have stickys, I wasn't aware of proboards allowing this.. Anyways something needs to be done.. Too much cludder..

Make a sub-forum (just like the two for member gallery discussion and member videos) for all of the regular sticky threads; for instance: all of Dan's stickied 'sale' threads would be moved into this sub-forum. A similar approach should be taken with the 'Gallery Updates' forum: move all of the stickied catalog/advertisement threads into their own main forum and use this new section for future additions.

Hum, sounds good to me.. Maybe replace the Member videos with a Sticky category.. Anyone else agree to this?

Sounds good to me. Make it an archive of sorts. You could have categories for catalogs, ongoing sales, etc.

Yes that sounds fantastic, ideal way the clean things up without losing track of what was stickied.
