When I was a kid, a lot of places had 56" curved blade ConTechs. I never saw a straight bladed or 36" one until I was an adult. The ones I saw looked basically identical to the ones I just posted, save for the blades. They were a very common fan in this area.
One store also had CECs identical to this one of Coleton's:
There was a grocery store when I was a kid that had a third, similar fan style. To my young eyes it looked like a cross between the two. The canopies were more similar to the ConTechs, but the motor shape was more similar to the CECs.
Any ideas?

What do you think of a Four Seasons/Nassau with Avalon blades? Better on a Lady Delta?

It looks cool on a Nassau, but more for a purpose of looks than air movement. Would look cool in an outdoor area!

"more for a purpose of looks than air movement."
What do you mean by that?

Around here it's more the opposite, I used to see more flat bladed ConTechs in the 1990's and early 2000's but after that a lot of them were removed. I actually never saw the brand on them so I don't know if they are really branded ConTech. These days theses fans are not installed anymore. Most of them were new in the 1990's or maybe even late 1980's.
It's only when I moved to N'Djamena in 2001, that I saw some fans that looks similar to those ConTechs but with curved blades and they were actually TMT's mostly likely from the mid to late 1980's. A non air conditioned grocery store I often went to have/had five blue TMT's 120 cm with three metal curved blades. Four of them were on the original 5-speed TMT controller except for the one above the cash that had it's control separated from the others that was on an older 1970's-early 1980's Mazda control. That grocery store also had a blue TAT 120 cm fan with a nut and three metal curve blades. The storage room had a white 120 cm Moss Caribbean Breeze with three metal contoured blades.
An Egyptian restaurant I went to once or maybe twice have/had one or maybe two of the same blue 120 cm TMT's with three metal curved blades installed outside of the restaurant.

The air movement is the same, both motors are identical other than the housing and control system.

The air movement is the same, both motors are identical other than the housing and control system. I think he's speaking Avalon in general, not dependent of what motor they're installed on. I like them on the Nassau, but I like them best on mid-size housings to begin with (Ventura, Nassau for example).

I decided to give the Nassau to the museum, since it's more likely to see the Lady Delta version elsewhere.

That's cool to see the inner parts of the fan. Now I know what's in a fan like that!
