Video sighting at a local restaurant here, was the absolutely coolest install I remember as a kid. Still a pretty cool install, but several of the fans have been replaced with new crap:

That's odd how they slowly remove the Envirofans.. Either as they burn out, which I don't think is the case, or as they decide to slowly upgrade them.. I love the room that's playing modern music along with a lot of flat screens.. I don't think I've seen a bar with a lot of flat screens and vintage ceiling fans around..

I assume they're going bad. Either the caps are going bad or the bearings are getting stuck or noisy. They're 35 years old at this point. The Deltas are 25 years old.

I really should go and edit these posts so it's just one post with a list of video links instead of dozens of separate posts.

I'd list them as separate posts.. When you edit the post, it doesn't indicate that there's anything new, unless you go into the thread and really look..

Yesterday I was in Milwaukee and stopped in a Sentry Grocery store. They had one of the oddest fan installs I've seen in a long time. They had a variety of industrials-- TATs I've never seen before with flat bottom motors and curved blades, old cast iron HRSes, Dayton Marleys, and one Gold Line. They were placed very oddly-- there would be three fans with the blades almost touching, then a huge gap, then another two fans almost touching. All of them were running. I tried to take some video but there were too many people.
