I don't think that one with the "fasco style" fan is Hunter. I've never seen any Hunter fan that looked like that. although what you could have seen was a Nutone Hasienda fan. those were copied after the Original. Infact, Nutone copied quite a few of Hunter's fan styles. Alot of brands have. The Nutone Hacienda was somewhat of a Hunter Original copy but it had a spinner motor, no Fasco type flywheel. Nutone did make one model with a Fasco-type flywheel but it was a Fasco copy, looked nothing like any Hunter. This actually was a Hunter original, and it was really cool, I wish I had it. I think there was a layer of rubber in the flywheel, brass on the bottom. I also would love an Adaptaire Original.

This ceiling fan is rare. I saw three of them somewhere along the coast of Georga. I haven't seen this one before either. the blades for the Ebay bid are different from what I saw. I saw the traditional blade irons on the fan I saw. Although, these fans were used with an extension downrod of about three feet. For some reason they love Hunter Originals in Georgia, and all over the "Dirty South". When I go down there, almost every fan I see is a Hunter Original or a Hunter Original Copy-- of which there are thousands of different brands and variations.
