The picture of the box of the fan Lamarque is not correct, it's not really pitched backwards. That's what I figured. It seems there are a number of companies that put pictures like that on their boxes, I can't imagine what the point of that is.

Got it... I just thought it was weird that they chose actual cast brackets for that fan instead of stamped like most bottom mount spinners use.

Quite a few SMC bottom mount spinners have used hard brackets. The contemporary version of the Promo Deluxe did. I prefer hard brackets even if they are touchy to bent back.

What is strange about the Vortice Nordik Decor? The blades coming out of the side of the motor, rather than the top or bottom. I suppose this was normal for this older style though. These two are my favorite. I have never seen one of these before.. Any idea what brand it is? That downrod is pretty short! Aside from the Hampton Bay industrial, I think this is the first industrial of this style I've seen with ball/socket mount.
