My name is Pierce Phillips (eBay i.d. organist89). I'm a former AFCA member, and a 14-year-old collector of 1970's and 1980's ceiling fans. I go and buy all the good ceiling fans on eBay, like the Commander ceiling fan, the Sears ceiling fan (Adam posted this morining), etc.
I'm collecting, fixing, and saving these for my future fan museum. My dorm room is now chock full of fans.
I'm usually willing to sell my fans, so if you want, email me (phip007@newhampton.org).
Basically, I rescue all the good fans, save some for the future, and sell some to people like you for your own collections.
Think of me as FanSaverMan.
I will, from time to time, post threads with pics so that you can see fans up for sale.
Currently, I have things like the 36" version of the Emerson 1895 series (from the '80s), the 52" version of that fan, a 52" blender fan, a 40" Sears (posted recently), a 52" Sears Lasko, a 42" Commander, etc.
Feel free to email me at any time
Long live the fans of the olden days
Peace
-Pierce

Glad to hear that, the more fan collectors the better...I wish I had the room to collect and save all the fans, I'm considering on selling and giving some away, because the lack of space and living conditions. If I give ceiling fans away, still the shipping is anyone who wants them.......Adam
