Yes. They're both made in Japan.

Nice. I suppose you got it from the ad that had many of them for sale?
What happened to the other Panasonic GE vent you had there before with the older pictures? I think it was the same model but polished brass.

That was a long time ago, it was so tarnished I didn't keep it around.. Pierce Phillips gave that to me in a Goodwill parking lot many years ago... I ended getting three of them, one happens to be a slightly lighter antique Brass.. I didn't notice one having a badly bent bracket, and I bent it back into proportion but it ended up cracking and it's almost broke, I may go and get it welded seeing how it's not fully broken into two pieces..

Glad you got some of these. They're very good fans, I'd love to find more Panasonics myself.

Interesting story. That was a while ago indeed. It seems that there's actually a lot of fans in the galleries that are still there but you don't have them anymore. You mentioned quite a few recently like the antique brass Litex Victorian and the small white Codep with tight wave cane blades.

I started out with a crappy camera, then I got something much better which I'm actually still using since 2003, though I do want to upgrade one of these days.. Which reminds me, I'm still updating alot of the smaller pictures in the galleries to a much bigger and better image.. To do that, I have to take fans out of storage and retake pictures..

Checked the pics in the gallery, i liked the fan
In the description you mentioned that panasonic no longer produces ceiling fans.. actually they still do till today by matsushita, their quality is still good and nowadays better than KDK

From what I gather I think that info is right.. I just need to add, "In the USA".. Matsushita is Panasonic.. You're just naming the company by the founder..
