This marks another first for my local Habitat: The first metal bladed/industrial fan I've found there. This one appears to be of the Caribbean CEC variety, instead of Moss, Commander CEC, or Tatung. It's closest to the Commander version, literally identical other than the fact my Commander has a different canopy and a few differences in stickers. It also seems it's never been used, wish it was still in the box. The instructions denote that it did have a wall control included, which I assume is wherever the box went (trashed? ). I think it may have been donated sans box, usually NIB fans are kept NIB unless they don't sell, then they're removed and assembled. There's also an older tip sheet for balancing in the bag of instructions from Casablanca (talks Hang-Tru in it). I assume it got mixed in, and in that case I wonder where the Casablanca went, whether it was used or not...

Do you note any differences between the various versions other than the labels and canopies?

I'm not positive if this is true for all of them, but the only one I have specifically labeled "Moss" has screws that look like little nuts on the bottom, and all the others have phillips screws. Whether all the ones sold under Moss had such a characteristic, I couldn't tell you.
The flat top piece of the motor on this one has a slight variation near where the bearing sits, but I'm sure that could also vary for any of them.

I *only* recall seeing the nuts on the bottom, but I could be remembering incorrectly.

Wow! Very cute fan, I love it. The scratchless glossy chocolate color on it is awesome. My favorite color for a metal blade spinner.
This is my favorite one in all the ones you got. I suppose you have about five of theses now? Three whites and two browns?
I saw the video, I only wish theses could have slower speeds. They are very fast on low even with a 3 or 4 speed wall control?
I wish someone here could find one of the extremely rare four metal blade version that Jon once saw somewhere in Texas.

Yeah I have five, all 36" in the amounts and colors you said.
My white one with the actual Caribbean Breeze label in the laundry room goes decently slow on its original control. I tried this one there thinking it'd slow down too but it didn't, the low was actually faster there lol. They do slow down on a 3/4 speed control I think, I would've done so but I already had a five speed choke hooked up from weeks ago when I was working down there and didn't bother changing it.

Wonder if they did a 36" four blade version.

It was difficult to find but here's the original thread this same picture in the link Cole provided was posted by Jon back in December 2006. ada19851985.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=updates&action=display&thread=1709It was difficult to find because the ''The Fans of Texas'' threads from Jon are in the Gallery Updates section and not in the general fan section. I did not remembered they were in the gallery section at first.
