...at Lowe's at least. They're going to be changing out the fan displays this month and I saw 2 Originals in the top-stock shelves the other day when I was there. They looked to be black, but we'll see if they get any other colors in. Even though they don't have the old motor setup, it's still nice to see that there's an effort to bring something half-decent back into the world.

Would love to see that happen, it's a model that needs to be available to people who don't do the glitzy showroom stuff and just want a good fan.

Yup exactly, they're on the Lowe's website for $349.99, but I don't know if that's through special order or if that's what they'll be on the shelf. I'll find out later in the week.

Yikes, it's really crazy where Original prices have gone in 10 years. I don't think the showroom environment has done anything good for the model, maybe Hunter is finally realizing that.

I saw the baseball fan back on shelves at lowes. I thought it was discontinued. I may see about the original if the price is lowered. I've seen lots of prestige fans at lowes. Remember when lowes sold the Casa stealth intellitouch about seven years ago?

Yea! I actually just found the literature from that year it was 2004. They sold the Stealth and 3 other Casablancas that were a part of the Cosmopolitan Collection. That didn't last very long.

I would rather see the other fancier Originals instead. This series without the Polished Brass, Antique Brass and White W/ Polished Brass is just boring.
$349.99 is not a good price point for a fan that is basically a cheap rip off from the classic Made in USA Original from 20-year ago. And those prices back then were appropriate.

I agree, I love the older Originals. And yes, I have tons of literature from the year 2000 and on. I've been meaning to make a Tumblr profile or Flickr or something like that, but I'm in school and I'm not really home a lot because I work too. When I have a chance to make a profile, I'll upload pictures of my pamphlets and of the fans that I have in my house.

It sucks that it's that much or I'd buy one.

I like the concept of bringing back the Original, but few people will buy one at that price.

This is going to end up like the Stealth when it was offered at Lowes.; offered one season, gone the next. No one is going to buy it at $349.00. Most consumers these days want designer modern styles in Brushed Nickel or Oil-Rubbed Bronze and are willing to spend no more than $150.00. You can see this pattern at The Home Depot and Lowes, high-priced models are not moving like cheaper ones.
This fan breaks away from the reasonable price point mark and offers NOTHING. With the economy the way it is, consumers are rarely spending anything over $200.00 for one single fan.
