i have one Sierra ceiling fan installed in my kitchen dinning room and it blows a heck of amount of air i think when my dad installed it back in the day it was called "Turbo II"? i remember seeing it on the factory box. it had the cool cane inserts on all 6 Blades. but a couple years ago the fan fell from the electrical box so then we replaced it with a cheapo lowes fan does anyone one here own a specific one i had? it looked like this one minus the light fixture and it was in a brighter brass finish imgur.com/LFuRl

I have that model fan, unfortunately mine only has 5 blades and no cane. It was sold to fit 4, 5, or 6, so if you could find 6 cane blades you could use it that way. It is for sale.

I have that same 6-bladed version with cane insert blades in Polished Brass. And the reason why yours felt was the nylon ball is/was too small and "gave out" thru the canopy hole. Within time, these Sierras came loose and dropped since they have no real ceiling support except the downrod ball (Nylon ball) and the canopy bracket.
A little background on these fans. Sierra fans came in two Series. 10-year warranty with direct drive motors and 4-blades only and 25-year warranty with Stack motors and multi-configuration flywheels as Dan mentioned. They were not expensive at all with the top-of-the-line Micro-Touch selling for just $400. while the competition was selling comparable fans for over $1,000.
Sierra fans were a private label showroom brand owned by Litco Lighting that distributed their fans to other showrooms nationwide. This idea was adopted from Homestead who started doing the same in the mid 1970s and later done by Lamps Plus with their Casa Vieja brand and Dan's Fan City and their Gulf Coast brand.

Wow sounds cool do you have pictures of yours? would like to see it i think your right it did not fall from the electrical box because after it fell all there was left was the 4 Piece Mounting Bracket on the ceiling think the black piece ball was worn down a bit. We got the fan from my dad's brother-in-laws Ceiling Fan/Lighting store back in the Mid 1980s or maybe late 1980s

Hey, Dan thanks for the offer but I still have my Turbo II still all I need is a new motor because after it fell the collision probably damaged the motor and the 4 piece mounting hardware cracked and also needs a new set of blade irons and needs the new set of cane insert blades which I think no one has... surprisingly the motor house is just about okay. but as for mounting its strange because there's 3 pieces holding the fan up and a hatch piece for accessing the wirings... but thanks for the offer Dan!
