Another GREAT find, and K63 with the flat canopy makes it that much cooler. Uncommon finish combo too, definitely makes it onto the list of the few fans that can kinda pull off the typically nasty white/AB combo.

I hate the finish but it's still an awesome fan! The ones with the flat canopy are pretty old. 1976-1977?

Here's a video of it.. It goes much faster than any Casablanca I've ever seen.. It compares to an industrial ceiling fan..

I have other K63 Casablancas and they don't go as fast.. well some k63s are better than others or depends how much the pitch of the blades are on that compare on other k63 casablancas.. daniel g's k63 is not as fast as my k63 zephyrs

It may depend on the capacitor as well, that will explain how much punch the motor has.. One of the blades was bent being alot more pitched than the others and it didn't effect the speed..

JW or someone mentioned a while back that in the late 70s Casablanca was, for some odd reason, using K63 motors of various sizes.. meaning some were noticeably more powerful than others.

Could be a bigger K63, could be a higher value capacitor (Adam is there an easy way for you to check this?), could be the blades aren't as steeply pitched as other Casablancas, a whole slew of things.
