I knew they werent Banvils, Canarm makes more sense. Isnt there an American importer with that same fan?
Westinghouse industrials are/were made with curved blades. I thought about a Banvil Bronze Line, but the motor looks different. Cant tell about the blades.

I don't think that these fans are really sells in the USA its probably a special order. Look what I found. Its a ceiling fan showroom dealer that show the motors use by the different companies of ceiling fans that they sells. You can see what looks like the Stack motor use in the Modern Fan Co Industry and Cirrus. www.delmarfans.com/motor_grades.cfm?catid=1001&subcatid=0You can also see the Fanimation K55 type motor use, the unique direct drive aluminum Hunter Air Max/Whisperwind motor(I think its 172mm) and that high quality XTR Skeletal motor

The Air Max isn't a direct drive. It's skeletal too. Thats a good link there Jean. BTW, I didn't know they made spinner motors smaller than 153 x 13. 80 x 25???

Oh, I didn't know Westinghouse made industrials. The Dayton/Marley with the balloon stuck in it isn't running. I just noticed that I took pictures of the same fan. lol

WOW very good like Jean, the Delmar fans. I think some of their info is incorrect, for example they dont list any Fanimation spinner motors. But it is very cool to see all the motor designs.
The Modern Fan Co stack looks like a Comfort Breeze motor.

Blenderfan sighting!
I went to the Peabody Museum today at Yale. Boring place, but, there were two 52" 3 blade, switch housing-less, (K63?) blenderfans!
Also, there was a crappy modern looking fan.
Pics as soon as they are finished uploading.

The Modern Fan Co stack looks like a Comfort Breeze motor. The modern fan co. stack motor is an Emerson K55XL, which is their new stack motor.

Yep, it's a K55. A nice example of a white one too.

Those are VERY cool photos of VERY cool fans in a VERY cool setting. Thanks Ben.
They are K55 Blenderfans with fiberglass blades, a rare combination. Most of the K55 ones had fake wood blades.
Are both fans in the same room? Looks like it. I wonder why one is on and the other is not. Maybe the 'off' one is non-working. Did you ask about it?

I was going to ask what is exactly the Peabody Museum but I discovered that its a museum about dinosaurs and history of nature. Its in New Heaven, CT near Yale University. Was that a exhibit visit with your school?
Nice pics! ONLY two ceiling fans for a THAT large room and they did not even put longer downroads! To me these fans are ugly, the 4 blades ones with switch housing are better. But they fit/looks good in that setting. It looks like they have been repaint. What kind of control do they use?
The other contemporary brushed nickel one appears to be a Casablanca S3 or Trident(these two looks so much the same) again with 3 wood blades. With a halogen light kit and remote control.
