Naw, it has a decent spin-down time. Crap motor.

Still could be either, especially bad capacitor. Spin down time has more to do with momentum than anything else.

The Popeye's near my house has the exact same Craftmades. They seem to look more upscale for a builder-type fan.
Lovely Bel Air! I really like the styling of those; it's looks really nice in that setting with the fireplace.

that fan is too small for master bedroom(usally master bedrooms i seen are biggest rooms)unless it's a unusal install...
one of my friend's parent's master bedroom have a fan on 1 side of the room(over their bed) and a boring ceiling light fixtures(like those square shades on them)but theirs had a round shade instead on the center spot on the ceiling in that same room...
that ceiling fan they have is a 52" 5 bladed white hunter, don't know the model off hand(has square end blades,regular/standered blade arms and looks like last year's year model)
their old fan they had before that was 42" all white hunter "coastal breeze"

I had a friend whose parents had a 38" Homestead in their HUGE master bedroom. Another friend had a 38" Four Seasons in their equally large family room. A small fan in a large room looks cool if it's a really cool fan.
