Academy Sports had three or four of those Ducks Unlimited ceiling fans the other day. There wasn't a display or anything, they were just out in one of the main pathways.
Yeah, I noticed they looked like a Cameron II.

Canarm Industrial have a shape of spinner housing similar to a SMC Laguna but slightly thicker. They have been around from much earlier that the 90s. They were introduced around 1977 exactly when Canarm started making ceiling fans. I know what I am talking about Canarm is the MOST popular ceiling fans brand in Canada, its in fact a Canadian brand. www.canarm.com/They make high quality industrial ceiling fans, medium and low quality residential ceiling fans and a lot of high quality exhaust fans, commercial fans and agricultural products. And also lighting.

Their industrial fans arent QUITE high quality-- their top models have some plastic parts, and have bearing problems occasionally. But they're good fans.

I went to Times Square on Saturday, didn't see too many fans. Mainly Nutone Prolines, HB industrials, a HB Chatham without the motor housing, a Emerson Cornerstone, a fan with some sail blades in a very confined space, and some modern looking fan, maybe my Modern Fan Co. I'll post my pictures later.

"Cirrus" by Modern Fan Co. Motor housing-less Chatham I don't know. Sailcloth blades. If anyone needs seeing, I can crop it out and zoom in. Nothing special...

The Cirrus is in a cool setting.
The hugger, why in the world did they feel the need to remove the housing?
The sailcloth fan, I've seen it before, I believe it's Monte Carlo.

There were two of those sailcloth fans, as there were two stands next to each other. Way too big for it's location, a 36" or less would be better suited.

The hugger is not a HB Chatham. It could be any other Hugger from the 90s with 5 white cane blades but the Chatham have 4 plain blades with 3 tulip lights. I also wonder did they remove the housing. The sailcloth blades fan is a Quorum Dragonfly 60''/72'' www.farreys.com/ceiling_fans/quorum/dragonfly_fan.htmlVery ugly fan but I like the shape of the switch housing. Ohhh sorry Jeremy was faster than me. YOU went to Time Square near the New Year! There was probably a LOT of peoples? Did you saw the sort of ball that was going down at the 5...4...3...2...1.......2008!!!!! Happy Hear Year!!! They show the crowd at Time Square on the 31 on TV.

yep jean,i agree the dragonfly fan is ugly..
on the hugger fan,i think the reason why they remove the housing cause the airvent next to the fan is too close enough that it won't fit which i rather put a short downrod(NOT hugger) fan on that spot

Right, Quorum. I was close.
Hampton Bay did offer a 5 blade/cane hugger, I dont remember if it was called the Landmark or not.
They could have moved the fan over an inch or two and it would fit, vent or not.

It's a Hampton Bay, I saw the silkscreen tag. Note how the motor is barely larger than the switch housing. Definitely not suitable for that 52" fan.

The 5 blade hampton bay in question is known as the harbor light.
