Have a CODEP EM Series Model 17601T (?) fan/light combo in the house I just bought. How can I find an owner's manual for it? Is there an oil port? - it squeaks some, especially when running at mid-speed - and where is the oil port, if it exists?
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I don't think you can find a manual for it. Those fans have sealed ball bearings where they are "permanently" lubricated. But you can oil them, just use Zoomspout or 3-in-1 SAE-20 Blue Can. You also could replace the bearings but I'm not sure if you want to go through all of that.

Yeah, those types of fans do not have oil ports, but they can be oiled. You probably won't be able to find an owner's manual, since that fan is long out of production. However, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them on here.

Hmm, EM Series, that sounds like the "Windsong". Does your fan look like this?: Accessible manuals would be pretty nonexistent by now, Codep has no surviving customer support at this point in time. As stated, you can oil the bearings by dripping a few drops into the bearings near the center of the motor. To do this you'll really have to take the fan down, and to access the top bearing you'll have to completely remove the motor housing to get there, which would also require taking the fan down.
