I know they were also some Evergo looking fans in Canada that were branded Play it Same Again with bilingual box. Very true. Those were usually Leslie Locke oriented based on what I've seen. I think Play it Again Sam was one of their own labels. Do you know if Play it Again Sam is a lable from Canada, US or Hong Kong? I heard they were some Play it Again Sam fans in the US.

I've heard of PiAS in the US as well, so it must have been a universal label for North America alike. Seems like it was super common in Canada though thanks to the multiple NIB units that have been uncovered up there.

I didnt find Andrew's post to be offensive. Then again, I, too, enjoy making fun of Canada.

PiAS was what Leslie Locke called their ceiling fans. Leslie Locke was an exhaust fan company that relabled Evergo/Envirofan fans in order to sell ceiling fans as well. It appears they distributed to both the US and Canada.

There are people in other parts of the world (possibly in Canada too, I'm not sure) who have a sense of humor.

But when it starts to be offensive it's not a matter of having a sens of humor or not. It's easy to laugh, your not at the place of the person being laughed at.

The video of the Evergo is finally there! The brown spray paint I end up using is not the same as the one I used on the Canarm. It's a more redish brown. It's called Kona Brown. It looks gorgeous IMO. Comment and rate please.

After having it for a little more than three years, here's a little update on this Evergo. Some of you probably remember that I had difficulty to removed the two screws on top of the lower canopy to lift the lower canopy and possibly find a date and find how the pole really connects to the rest of the fan. I've been told that Evergos often have a date on the capacitor. I still haven't been able to get turning the one screw that is stuck. I've been able to lift the lower canopy more because on this fan the lower canopy does not screw against the fan, it just sit on top of it. I haven't been able to see a date on it but I could see it was a box shape black capacitor and not a metallic one. I've been meaning to take new pictures of it because the last ones were horribly grainy.

I've seen dates on Evergos in many different places on different types of fans.. With Switch housings, I've seen them on the top of the switch housing facing motor, and on the Banana fans I've seen dates on the mounting hanger...
Nice pictures, they look better than the last ones..

Andrew told me that because of the size of the motor it should be older than 1980 or 1980 at most.
