These Are the GEC whispers ! yes they are Indian. The original upper canopies are just like the bottom ones.

Picked up these two while I was out with Habitat. They look like Crompton Greaves but the motors are much more square and the blades are shaped slightly different. The white one is 48" and the brown one is 56". The brackets are much longer on the white one than they would be on a Crompton Greaves, and the screw holes in the brackets where the blades attach to the motor are very close to each other on both fans. Neither fan came with a wall control or an upper canopy, let alone a way to mount it. I think Jeremy has a set of wood blades with the same brackets as the 56". Neither motor tag gives any clue as to a brand. Any ideas? These are gec goldline ceiling fans

On YouTube I have seen a video with a similar fan. I think this fan is indeed an Indian fan. The name of the one I saw was GEC Whispair.
