Which one of the member galleries is user friendlier, has a better layout etc.. Vote here, one of the galleries will remain depending on which gallery has more votes.. The latest gallery that was recently added is in link 3. try them all out and see which one better fits you.
Ok on link number one, you go into VCF Member's Ceiling Fans Categories than on the top click the drop down menu My Stuff, select Category admin, add in title your "name or user", than description like "Your Ceiling Fans", choose parent category "VCF Member's Ceiling Fan Categories" Allow other users to rate "up to you" than click add category.
Next add a sub-category: which will be ceiling fan makes, click the drop down box "My stuff" again, and again select Category Admin, and then create a category under your name/user category you created first, and title it as a ceiling fan make "Casablanca" example and description " Casablanca Ceiling Fans" and then parent category select, your name category and then the same with password etc. as stated above. and do the same over for other makes/brands etc.
When you upload, if your in the category where you want to upload, click upload, and the will take you to where you can upload three files at a time, and your category should all ready be selected to the category your at, you can leave all spaces blank and click submit, and then an option page will come up so you can edit title, description and keywords for each of the 3 files, than click proceed, and they are uploaded..
i checked them again.. well.. now i am more with the first one than the other 2, but my suggestion is in the main page, instead of usernames appearing in categories, i suggest putting ceiling fan brand names (that we created and any member can post in terms of relevance)
edit: 250 letters for description is not enough
edit 2: it would be much better if it had the auto re size feature
edit 3: sub categories of a category are not supposed to appear in the main page (of user)
If im not mistaken, I think members want to have there own galleries, and can categorized them as they wish, similar to yahoo groups. If not i can always create galleries by brand, and users upload in the galleries mixed with other user photos... its up to you all..
I think there is a way to where users can upload bigger files and the gallery will downsize the files automatically to consume space.. Im going to look into that later on tonight sometime

So far I like the first one the best, it seems that is the one that is set up to be the most organized. It seems it goes this way: names of all member and then some sub categories for brands and then the pics/uploads of the member.
To create my gallery with my name do I just click on upload? And then after how I can divide my uploads per brand?
Ok i now figured out the auto resize feature, you can upload jpg jpeg files up to 2.00mb and the above resize level and it will auto resize them to 600x600 in size and make the file smaller.. So you should not get any more errors on that part. However it does not resize bmp files, so keep the files in jpeg or jpg format..
