I figure the blogs would be better for Catalogs seeing how there's many pages and they all can be viewed much easier.. I set the image sizes to 1000x1000 over there so photo copied catalogs can be seen much better...

Alrighty, I moved and published them in the 'Catalogs' section. Looks great - you guys should be able to access them now. With regards to the images themselves, they're actually embedded Photobucket images, so they're at their maximum size right now. Sorry about that... Also, is there a way to get to page 2? The first three catalogs still aren't showing up...it seems to only display the 7 most recent articles. Regardless, thanks for all the time you've put into this Adam...I'm sure the catalog section will be really cool once it's all said and done.

Done... Had to set the Pagination Links on.. Now you'll see after six articles another page will be created.. Seeing how you linked your catalogs from photobucket it cuts off the image.. If you upload them and insert them in the articles everyone will have the option of clicking on them to see the full image..

It doesn't really appear cut off on my end - I can see the whole picture. What part appears cut off? The right side?

It's the right side.. It only gives a certain amount of room for the pictures, and when you upload them, you have the option to click on the picture for it to pop up and view the whole picture..

Adam, I've got a bunch of random catalog clippings from the 90s. A lot of them are JC-Penney and 1998 Hampton Bays/Hunters. Would it be okay if I made an article for all these? I was just checking since they're not really a catalog... Sample of what the pics are like: Also...what size is your screen? Is it a 4:3 proportioned one? Mine's widescreen (16:9), which may explain why it's not cut off on my end...I'll look into uploading (rather than embedding) the other pics.

Made a post to the literature section finally. So the catalog section is strictly full catalogs (perhaps with an assigned year?) or where are we drawing the line? Like if I have a little Casablanca pamphlet with a few assorted models would that go in literature or catalogs, because it's not really a catalog per se...

You can go as old as possible.. I noticed you have attached files, you can post the pictures to where they view automatically as a page, instead of having to click on each file to view it....

Alrighty, the clippings are up. I put them under literature since they're not a full catalog.

Ah okay, I might go in and swap that out. But I wasn't asking about date, but rather about subject matter. Like what is a "catalog" and what is "literature". I'm thinking anything with a specific year, i.e. Emerson 2008 or Hampton Bay 2005 would be a catalog, and anything else is literature? I have a few items like said Casablanca model sheet that are kind of iffy and it's hard to say which section they should go in.

Literature is where you can put anything up like ads, schematics, users manuals, instructions, and anything else I'm missing.. But maybe it would be better if we put everything into one, under Literature which will include catalogs as well

That's how I was thinking it was supposed to work, and I think that's pretty clear-cut but I wanted to clarify for future reference. I think the two sections will be okay, separate catalogs are easier to follow.

Didn't want to start a new thread or anything, but wanted to put out that the portables section majorly needs to be re-alphabetized after the many contributions I put in today.
