I hadn't noticed, because I haven't been in there recently, but very cool that someone else is contributing!
On that note, I need to get back in there and upload some more stuff but I've been having upload issues within my computer that I need to solve first.

The catalog section is empty. Someone needs to upload some literature! Adam uploaded a brochure that Dan had onto the site but it should be in the catalog section as well, as well as some of the other catalogs Dan has posted. (:

I added the Commander catalog to the site under the Commander gallery a while back ago.. But there is alot of other stuff that could be uploaded to the member areas if someone wants to do it..
I'll have to update the order when I have time within the next few days

actually it's not xpelair whispair, these fans were labeled with another name, can't remember it though but i remember it could be something like "swift" something related to speed, that section was built in the 90s i believe since it looks newer than the other parts..... these are in the holy mosque in saudia arabia, there are many of these but they are in operation almost 24/7... it was tough to take it's photo i've seen the actual xpelair whispair in a different section of the holy mosque in saudia arabia and there are almost a thousand of these, but i didn't get a clear photo of it since photography was prohibited inside that place and there were security in that area.. xpelair whispairs have bell canopies (just like 36" union) and MEC, Patton motor shape this is the best shot i got of a late 2000s xpelair whispair (they sure yellow pretty fast)

I saw some of them on UK eBay and it seems the motors were often dated around 1986-1987. The Xpelair you posted seems to be the current version which is this: www.discount-electrical.co.uk/product.php/21518115/xpelair-whispair-ceiling-sweep-fan-with-sweep-diameter-900mmThat older one you saw in Saudi Arabia is the older version of the current Xpelair Whispair. Since it was made in the mid to late 1980s, it's very possible that it might have been made into the 1990s too especially considering that some English sites still have some older stocks left: export.rsdelivers.com/product/xpelair/21852aw/5speed-controller-for-aircirculation-fan/3761528.aspx#header

now i see.. it looks exactly like the one in saudia arabia!! i'll have to admit, these could be the older version of xpelair whispair, these fans are probably as fast as crompton parkinson, definitely slower than relite fans... there are more than 500 of these in that place

I have to do some of my catalogs as well, but I was gonna ask this: Are we supposed to create categories for them, or how is that working? Like by brand or are we just loading them in? And wait, where is the catalog section now? Gosh, I really can't take breaks from the gallery, I lose track of what I'm doing lol.

I took them out from the galleries seeing how no one uploaded Catalogs and literature... I have a section in the members section that may be better for that... Click on Ceiling Fan Blogs.. Upload them to over there.. I haven't tried them out yet.. Create an article under Catalogs, See how that works and we'll go from there..

Adam, I uploaded all of my Home Depot catalogs (1999-2008) in the "Ceiling Fan Literature" section. They show up as "Not Published" on my end, but when I log out, they're not listed. I did upload the 1999, 2000, and 2001 ones, but I can't see them at all for some reason. How do you get them published for all to see? Is that something you have to do? Anyway, hope these will help kick-start the literature section...I still got a few other catalogs to upload yet. Also...I accidently listed these catalogs in the "Literature" section instead of "Catalogs"...would you mind fixin' that for me?

Rick,
The settings were not set correctly. The Catalog section was set to where it wasn't allowing anything, it should work now.. Go in and edit each article, and set Published to Yes and then save.. I also adjusted the image size to 1000x1000 so the images should show all the detail.. You should be able to move your articles over to the Catalogs section now also.. Remove all the attachments from the inline, and delete them from the bottom section in the upload manager, and an hour they should be deleted from your load manager, then re upload them, so they will be larger..
If anyone is good with html.. There's many things that could be done in those sections..
