JJ and I recently did a trade, and I sent out my 52" AB Nutone Slimline in exchange for a childhood fan, this Design House Neon NIB. I always wanted one of these from the local Fleet Farm store, but they were always too much $$. Then they quit selling them so I never had a chance. This isn't exactly the same, my fan had wider blades and standard half moon brackets, but this is very close, and the blue light is most important to me. I just realized I didn't take a picture of the box, but here's the fan itself. I actually got another a while back that is more like my childhood fan, but the light is pink, and it won't stay lit so I never posted about it. Sadly the housing is cracked a lot, but it would still look great if I could get the light to stay lit. These are the correct blades and arms though, so I could really create my childhood fan using parts from both fans.

Oh, cool! Neon fans are quite neat. I like the blue neon in it.

I have one EXACTLY like that NIB (Design-House)
I saw the King of Fans version on display at Service Merchandise and Builder's Square.

I really don't like the clear blades on theses but otherwise they are cool! I like how the switch housing is particularly long.
Yeah you should use the half moon brackets from the pink neon damaged one on the good NIB blue neon one! U brackets always look wrong to me with pointed tip blades.

I recall seeing the Design House version at Fleet Farm too, and Moser Lumber had that model on display.
The other version you have is the King of Fans which came with either a blue or pink neon light. Just like John, I remember those from Builders Square and a few other places....I think Handy Andy had both models as well but one had a Saturn style light kit.
Kind of a Childhood fan for me. They were pretty common in the area I lived in at the time.

Cool. I remember seeing a bunch of these installed in a Mcdonalds down in Florida. They looks cool but how well do they preform? I kinda want one.
You should get Novus plastic polish to clean this fan.

All Neon fans WITH THIS HOUSING STYLE are all manufactured by Chien Luen Industries. They hold three patent designs for the different motor housing designs and a plethora of blade arms. Each version is slightly different tailor-made to different importers.
