That's a nice box fan.. I have one with a similar color blade but its a different shape.. Its a Comfort Conditioner..
That pedestal fan is very interesting.. I've never seen one like that before.. What year is it from?

As far as the Edison, does yours have the shroud? What color is the front grille? I've seen a few on eBay and elsewhere with a front grille in a similar shade of gray as the blades, and others with the white grille. They both have the translucent dark gray blades, but I believe the dark grille was a variable speed. As for the Holmes, I couldn't find a date on it, but I'll look again.

Yes, it has the shroud thing.. The front guard is plastic,, its a yellow-tan color.. I'm not sure what color it would have been originally,, maybe white?.. It has a dark grey/black semi-translucent blade also,, in a similar shape to the GE 5-wing box fans..

The Holmes pedestal is interesting, I think I have heard of those but never seen one. Panasonic had something similar called Magic Stop but it was more of a safety feature than to actually turn the fan on/off, from what I heard.

I actually googled Holmes master touch and found a QVC ad from years ago, It showed a fan like mine but in all black. |

Jordan Greene of the AFCA, I think Ray Hane may have bought the Magic Stop. I do recall Bill having one back on DT.

Bill K? Yeah, he posted on DT at times and also on the AFCA. He was big on DT in the earlier years and came back some in later years.
