Those new Air King fans aren't bad. I love that their box fans still have a wide cabinet, unlike most today that are so skinny. They move fair air, it's all that is bought in our school district these days, so I see them often. I also like the grilles on the other fans, they're more classically styled and are often bare chrome finish.

Today's Air King is the last good fan I guess.

I have yet to experience their box fans. I imaging they're of better quality than something made by Lasko or Holmes.

I have yet to experience their box fans. I imaging they're of better quality than something made by Lasko or Holmes. Really? The old ones were really great, but the new ones have to be some of the better ones available considering the wide cabinet. Other than that, they're very Lasko like, but they still move great air for a modern day fan. They must have less flimsy blade materials as well though, because I've seen them with blades broken off more than once at the area schools (of course from kids being stupid, but even the Lakewoods in the schools have held up in the blade department).

Hmmm.
You do have a point there Cole. They are after all, very much Lasko like.
I remember when I was in middle school the heaters in the building turned on in August. Bleh.
They bought a ton of Lasko fans. I never saw a single one survive that school. They all broke.

poor laskos i consider lakso to be decent fan for modern day *takes drink, spits it out* What? Puhleeze. They are not all that decent. They're not even the same company I grew up with over the last 19 years. See this video for details: And, on a side note, this isn't my video, but there is a considerable quality difference between what is today, and what was then.
