i have no idea if construction buses and trucks in the US or canada have those 6" portable fans on the side of the chair but in dubai, it's available in almost all construction buses and trucks.. i got one from the electronic store almost 2 months ago for AED 30 (almost $8.5).. even though there isn't any good place in my car for placing it, i place it between the 2 front seats for air circulation i forgot what was the brand name, i remember it is chinese made the fan is very powerful, very fast, and it pushes huge loads of air. however, blades are plastic and the fan is a bit wobbly since i accidently hit one of it's blades with my finger while the fan was just switched off

Yeah, a lot of commercial vehicles have a more powerful version built right into the vehicle. We have those available at auto stores and such, and I actually have a black one that is like those electric clip on fans but plugs into a cigarette lighter instead. Mine is more plastic though, and has a more closed back grille.

Cool fan! I've never seen a car/truck fan like that before.

The only really nice car/truck/bus/large vehicle fans are the weeeee little midget Roto-Beams.

Yeah we got those. In New York, almost all the buses are equipped with Fasco metal car fans
