A local Botanix gardening center has various industrial circulating fans in the greenhouses. They are all on variable speed wall controls, the same ones used for ceiling fans. They have a few of this model. They were installed in early 2005. Before spring 2005, they didn't have any fans in the greenhouses. In 2017, they replaced some of the older ones with these and they probably added some in new locations too. Canarm 45 cm, I like this model with the wide blades and the spaced grills. Greentek A Thomson 40 cm pedestal fan in my hotel room in Royan, Poitou-Charentes (France). A 2015 Seabreeze Cool-Sweep 25 cm Enjoy!

I like the greenhouse fans.. The first one with the round blades is my favorite.. There used to be some in the local garden stores around here, but a lot of them are being replaced with fans that look like the second one.. They carry the brand Schaefer and have blade that look more like the third fan..

I've seen some of those Seabreezes at the AFCA meet I go too. They were older ones though and plastic was yellowed.
I like those greenhouse fans too.

A five metal bladed 2007 Canarm extractor fan in the bathroom at a camping in the Lanaudière region. It was on high speed when I arrived. I turned it off for the photo. This is the two speed controller for it. In a friend's condominium in Montréal, there's a common space for storing items that the people that live there don't want anymore and I saw this Durabrand 40 cm pedestal fan. I don't think I saw this brand before. It looks a lot like a model Airworks had in the early to mid 2000's except with opaque blades. This mid 1990's Super 40 cm desk fan also showed up. This is the less common version with the speed controller at the back of the motor. I prefer this model in the 30 cm version. I have an early 1990's version of this in 30 cm with dark blue blades. At a outdoor gear and finishing equipment store in Rawdon, Lanandière I saw this mid 1970's blue bladed Galaxy 30 cm desk fan. Notice the blue of the blades is darker than on the Super version. Enjoy and comment!

I like that little Canarm exhaust fan. Durabrand was Walmart's store brand here, but I don't remember it being used for fans.

Was that Galaxy being used in the store? It looks like it's in good condition for being used in a commercial environment..

My local shopping mall has a La Baie store that's been around since the early 1970's. In some of the fitting rooms downstairs they often have portable fans in them. Over the year I have seen all sorts of fans in there. They usually take the fans that they sell on the 3rd floor. Around 199-2001, they used to have a large 50 cm white and blue five bladed 4-speed Holmes pedestal fan in there and later a black and chrome Bionaire metallic four blade pedestal fan. These are fans they used to sell. Last autumn, there was this mid to late 1990's 30 cm Super desk fan. This is not something they used to sell.

I'm very late at posting some of these. Hehe! In Toronto: A 1910's General Electric 30 cm iron desk fan with six brass blades at the Old Spaghetti Restaurant. This this an oscillating model? A contemporary metal Garrison 40 cm pedestal fan at St. George campus. A circular NuTone extractor fan in the bathroom of a restaurant. In Montréal: A Holmes desk fan at a local Villages des Valeurs. I believe this model was sold in the late 1990's and early 2000's. I'm not sure of the blade diameter but it's defintely smaller than 30 cm. Probably 20. A photo of a different unit of the multiples air circulators at my local Botanix gardening center along with a video tour showing multiples of them while on. This is one of the new Canarm installed in 2017. I posted some at the top of this page in June 2018. This particular one has pointed blades, some have more rounded blades. It seems they all have the same blade diameter. An early 1980's brown and amber Super 30 cm desk fan at my office. It has a crack on the base, otherwise it's in good condition. It still has it's little transparent clips to hold the grills togheter. I wish I could find clips like these for my blue Super. Enjoy!

The GE looks stationary to me. I like the NuTone exhaust fan and those Canarms in the greenhouse. How are the Canarms able to have non OSHA guard spacing?

The GE looks stationary to me. I like the NuTone exhaust fan and those Canarms in the greenhouse. How are the Canarms able to have non OSHA guard spacing? I would imagine it's related to the fact that these fans will often be installed relatively high so they will less likely be reachable but these in particular are perfectly reachable.
