Wow, nice finds! The Roto-Beam is cool; too bad it's in such rough shape though... Ooo, you got one of those Dominions! They're pretty cool fans. You've seen my green one: The Galaxy box fan is in great shape. The Lakewood P-23 is real nice; that speed knob is just awesome. ;D

You know, I wondered if it wasn't like yours when I found it.

Whoa free Roto-Beam! Aren't theses very rare and usually expansive? How many speeds does it have and does it works well?
How old is that Galaxy box fan? I like the shape of the blades.
Nice colors on theses box fans!
Sad that most of the fan you found are in pretty rough shape. Except for the Galaxy box fan, it seems in good shape.

I know nothing about Roto-Beam, I'd never heard of it before. Currently it has no speeds (but should have three I think) and does not work at all. It's missing every original screw, power cord, and whatever held the front cage on. Someone attempted to work on it, tore the whole thing apart, and donated it I guess. Only reason it was free was because it doesn't work, the motor is just sitting in there (notice the first pic the blade is off center, and the second pic it's fallen forward, those brackets should be connected to the holes near the edge of the housing), but thankfully the chain and connection wires are still there so it's just a matter of getting it working.
Not sure on the Galaxy date. I really know very little about portable fans, I only know what I like and that old fans are way better than the crap sold today.
Yeah, it is sad. It's a shabby little store, so I guess they get rough stuff. Also a lot of NIB and NOS stuff as well though! They had a pedestal in good condition (don't remember the brand, it was something Asian) that I wanted as well, but I went back the next week and it was gone after it had been sitting there for months on end. I have gotten quite a few good fans there though, such as my blue Superior Electric and a small tan Galaxy, both in presentable condition.

I have one of those Roto-Beam fans. They move a ton of air! Mine unfortunately burned out for some bizzare reason.
