Actually, it was finished a long time ago but I never posted about it. For those who don't know I've been working to get fluorescent lighting and industrial fans (thank you Sean!) up in the garage. All that was there when we moved in was two bare sockets (you can see the boxes in the later pics) and a fluorescent light at the back over the work bench Later on I did this: And now it's equipped with industrial fans and fluorescent lighting. For those who like the details, the bulbs are 40W T12s in cool white. I would've gone higher grade, but I really couldn't afford anything else so I got what I could. At least there's more light than with two bare light bulbs... And for those who saw the fans before I got the lights up, you'll notice they've been moved around a bit for better placement (and I decided I really like having one over the work bench )

great! are you planning to re-put all your fans in the garage a day, or you're keeping your room in the basement?

I don't plan to ever put the garage the way it was before with them out there like that. The blades had a high risk of warpage, and I took them down for the winter to avoid condensation and whatnot which was a lot of work. I'll always have my room in the basement for the indoor fans.
