good afternoon everyone! this week i start with the banvil industrial i have in my attic... i got clearest pictures. this summer i got from my grand mother a guibb ceiling fan. guibb is the brand... i don't if i've show the pictures... but here are the rest of that fan... because 3 of the brackets broke in my hand... to continue with my fan... here are the fans in my house... they are not hunter or casablanca... they are canarm and nadair... and the airworks in the box first. my ceiling fan... a canarm catalyst of 1994 i got it at entraide, in october 2009 the ceiling who was in my room, is the next... 2001 canrm eclipse originally it was all white... but i brocked one arm... so ive found a black ceiling fan... and change pieces. because i doesn't match in my room... i've take the catalyst. the eclipse is now in the garage, who is black and white here is an other canarm... canarm omni of 2003 or 2004 here is a 2004 nadair hugger... dont like it very much... the lighting in the ceiling fan who was there had burn... and i got a picture similar of the fan model (the picture is not from me) and the airworks paradise i got from lentraide... this christmas some of you probably remember... i have post pictures of my canarm mystic... acquisition last spring, from entraide i returned it, and keep it for myself.... i wil install it this summer, because there is no climatisation in my work area the tassels are not original... but they are going to rest on the mystic.... here are the originals pull chains, with the fan and there is others pictures of the fan with tassels, say me what you think. second part. the fans of entraide, for the week. first. a smc little hugger... beautiful fan... but shack a little bit when turn... and when its off... i can shack the motor... its not fixed so good. second, a canarm(i think) of 1987

thanks! the smc hugger is a beautiful fan... and can fit perfectly in a small room... like a small kitchen, or office... but, is it normal that the motor wooble? you know you have the the metal piece to mount it on the ceiling... and you have the little metal door... when i screw it... the motor still wooble, is it normal?

Was there a piece of rubber between the mounting bracket and the motor mount? If that was missing you have more of a problem as the fan will hum excessively, but if the rubber is there you're fine as they always have a little room to wobble.

Cool I finally see an closeup of those Guibb bottom mount spinners. The motor have a different shape than a Encon Princess, its also bigger and thicker. Its really unique that they have a detachable switch housing. Is it dated? Do you have the blades for it? Eww don't put tassels on a Mystic. Doesn't look right. Especially when you put that yellow 4 Seasons one. That pull chain belongs to the brown Galaxy. The pulls on the SMC 30'' is exactly the kind I want for my Promo. I love those Oreos pulls. ;D Those are not the original shades on the Nadair hugger?

for cole. i didnt have seen any rubber piece. there is only the metal piece to lock the motor in the mount. when i had the guibb at my house... the blades were with it, but i tried to fix one, and it broke... and ive test the other ones, with no force. and it broke... i will search a picture of it with blades...
me, i like the style of the mystic with tassels... it remind me when the fans at Lasalle had that.. and i know, the yellow dont look good.
and for the oreo pulls. i dont have check in my pulls ''collection'' i will think about search thursday... i'll recontact you friday, if you want oreo pulls...
no, they're not... the original one were frosty... and my mom don't like that... so we change the shades.

Ah, there should be a rubber piece there. I'll try to get a picture later for you, perhaps it's there and you didn't notice it, if not that's your main problem.

good morning everyone! theses are the fans of the week... first, an old banvil... don't have the date of fabrication... but looks like late 70's or early 80's one side of the wood blade had been painted white, this is why you saw white on the blades. the motor was burned, but for the picture i have push the blades. second, i got a canarm hugger, from late 90's, early 2000's taht fan came in the box of a smc promo deluxe, form the 90's this is the box(jean want it) and now, the fan... very good ceiling fan, no wooble, and no sound! the 2 globes are not original... but the one who is for the fan, is the all white. (on the 2 last pictures)

For some reason, that seems popular to paint the walnut blades of an brown or brass fan white. I think that color combination is ugly, but at least the cane side didn't get painted on that Banvil spinner (they look MUCH better than the white ). The white hugger is nice, too. And that SMC box is awesome! I wonder if Jean wants it...

the white hugger was the fan of my childhood... that was the fan i want so much... but now, i don't like it...
and yes, jean want the boxe, because he have that fan... but no boxe.

The Banvil is cool looking, would be better minus those white painted blades. The white hugger looks suspiciously like Her!t@ge. Complete crap if it is, but I suppose there's always worse...
