No. The smaller sizes were introduced when the triangle vents and tapered brackets were introduced. I think the 36" version would look good in the older style with the pretzel brackets. I don't care much for the newer version, there's nothing "classic" about it. That's what I thought. You know it's never going to happen; craftmade is pretty much the only high end brand keeping pretzel brackets in style.

Did they make any chages to the fan itself or is it exactly the same? I think it's the same other than the name being changed. Chances are they made some insignificant change to it, or just made something cheaper about it. Otherwise there would be no point in renaming it, unless that was just a marketing scheme.

Regency is also pretty good as far as quality goes, and they do produce some more transitional style fans with pretzel brackets.

Their fans are still decent, about as good as they always were, which is mediocre. Link: www.regencyfans.com. Craftmade, on the other hand, was always higher end but has improved. Nowadays, they are about as good as minka aire, which is considered in the top 5 for modern day fan quality, putting craftmade in the top 5.

That's unfortunate. It looks like they have 'uglified' a number of their models as well. At least Craftmade is still decent. I wanted to get a CXL or whatever it is for my office instead of the Brookhurst, but it ended up being too expensive.

Of all the modern day brands, I'd say that emerson and fanimation are currently the two best brands, primarily emerson. Minka aire, Casablanca, Craftmade, and Quorum are still high end selections, but they aren't good like Emerson and Fanimation are. What was the maximum price you were willing to pay for an office fan?

What was the maximum price you were willing to pay for an office fan? I already bought the Brookhurst a while ago, so its irrelevant now, but just for discussion purposes my budget was around $75-$100, and not going used/vintage I know you won't get anything quality at that price. I think the Craftmade I wanted on eBay was $120, but it didn't come with blades so it was going to get really expensive really fast.

69th, 1997 Canarm Nice! I'd take a guess that this was from the Royal Collection? 70th, 2008 Canarm Eclipse BPT Yuck! White blades + brushed pewter = 71nd, 2006 Canarm Tampa, also known as Home Collection Tampa 2 of the blades were removed and taped together, the tape made marks on the blades so I had to flip them to the dark side I actually like these. Too bad about the tape, although the darker side of the blades (mahogany) do make it look a lot classier. How much did you sell this for?

70th, 2008 Canarm Eclipse BPT Yuck! White blades + brushed pewter = You're yuck! While I don't particularly like it, that and black blades are the only combination that doesn't make me

This is what I was talking about on YouTube, I started guessing that you hadn't seen the new Regency lineup yet. They stopped with pretzel brackets years ago, there was a total incarnation of redesign before their current lineup.

Humm yes, the Alaska is very cute. It's the four blade version of the many five blade antique brass models I posted about last summer.
